About the Festival

This November 2023, CMDI Group in collaboration with the "Golden Autumn" Eurasian Stars International Festival, will be organising a special classical music concert series featuring National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan and conductor Alibek Kabdurakhmanov.

The National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, led by Artistic Director and Conductor Alibek Kabdurakhmanov, is a premier musical ensemble dedicated to the promotion and performance of classical and contemporary orchestral works. Established with a commitment to artistic excellence, the orchestra continues to inspire audiences with its captivating performances and commitment to musical innovation. It should be noted that the National Symphony Orchestra makes a worthy contribution to the development of cultural ties in Uzbekistan, contributes to strengthening interaction in the field of classical music, as well as rapprochement of different peoples and nationalities of the world.

On November 18, 2023, Tashkent will host a transcendent musical experience at State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, featuring world-class soloists Julian Steckel on the cello and Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi on the bandoneon. The program for the night promises a diverse and enchanting journey through the realms of classical and contemporary compositions, meticulously curated to resonate with the audience's hearts and minds: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, Alexey Shor and Astor Piazzolla.

Moving further on the enchanting evening of November 20, 2023, the illustrious pianist Zee Zee will grace the stage of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan as part of the "Golden Autumn" Eurasian Stars International Festival. The program for the evening is a harmonious blend of contemporary and classical masterpieces, carefully curated to transport the audience through a spectrum of emotions. The evening will open with Alexey Shor's "Childhood Memories" suite for piano and orchestra No. 3. This composition, a nostalgic and evocative journey through the echoes of youth, showcases Shor's ability to weave intricate melodies that resonate with the soul.

The magic continues with Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No 3 (Eroica) Op. 55, a monumental work that transcends time. Zee Zee's interpretation, coupled with the sweeping orchestral arrangements, promises to breathe new life into this iconic symphony.

On November 21, 2023, the "Golden Autumn" Eurasian Stars International Festival presents a special performance by pianist Nikita Mndoyants and violinist Jarosław Nadrzycki. The evening’s program will feature a range of versatile works from composers across different eras, beginning with Alexey Shor's Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor, a piece that brings both lyricism and energy to the stage. Following this, Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor, Op. 37, will allow audiences to experience the drama and depth of Beethoven’s genius. The program concludes with Aram Khachaturian’s Violin Concerto in D minor, known for its rich folk influences and virtuosic demands, bringing the festival to a vibrant and dynamic close. This final evening promises to celebrate both classical traditions and contemporary expressions, encapsulating the profound beauty and emotional range of orchestral music.
